Different Types of RFID Systems
Passive and Active RFID? Active rfid use battery assisted cards. Cost wise expansive and works on longer range. Passive RFID use reader’s radiations for identification. Active rfid is not affordable easily for schools as cost is high and also there are questions about the use of high frequency for students’ attendance. Many rfid journals don’t recommend that.

Each of these have different use case. Like for human attendance, normally low frequency rfid system used. For schools, all of these frequencies used. UHF have limitations with reading cards on human body so for parking management, its good but not for rfid school attendance. High frequency has short read range and expansive than low frequency. Low frequency is safe and works on human body as well
Ask for Live Sites and Results
Many vendors are very new in market and risks the money of customers for experiments on the basis of false claims. Ask them to show live working and also the output / results of that deployment.
